It is with deep sadness that we share the news that our dear friend and colleague, Dr. Vladimir Pupyshev, passed away on June 16, 2020. He devoted his entire life to Moscow State University. He graduated from the Chemistry department in 1971 and since then he worked in the field of quantum chemistry and quantum molecular mechanics. As a leading Russian scientist, he brought up more than one generation of theoretical chemists, who work now around the world. What will be missed most is his sharp mind as well as his kind and thoughtful assistance to all his colleagues and students. He supported us all the time and was willing to share his knowledge with all of us. We will always remember his big heart.
