Research

Anastasia Bochenkova is Associate Professor in Theoretical and Quantum Chemistry. Her research is focused on the electronic structure, properties, and ultrafast dynamics of excited states of photoactive proteins and their light-absorbing molecular units. Her interdisciplinary research projects include quantum photochemistry, femtochemistry, electron-driven chemistry, molecular physics, bio- and nanophotonics, and molecular biology. She is co-developer of the Firefly quantum chemistry package.
